This laser type is known as the deepest laser type due to its technical features. It is the longest hair removal laser. For this reason, it is less attached to the dye named melanin in the structure of the hair. Due to the adhesion of Nd: yag lasers to melanin, it has almost no effect on melanin.
Reduced by melanin nd: Yag reduces the epilation efficiency of lasers. But thanks to this feature, nd: yag lasers can be used for epilation even in very dark skin and even blacks.
Nd: yag lasers are the best laser used in the treatment of superficial capillary varices. Hemoglobin in capillary varices clings to the dye and causes burns of the vein. For this reason, nd: oil lasers are the preferred lasers in the treatment of capillary varicose veins that do not exceed 5 mm in the treatment of varicose veins.
Nd: YAG LASER It can be applied safely to every skin color, it is also effective on fine hair. The darkest skin type, including Afro-Americana, can be applied without causing skin spotting. Therefore, there is no objection to the application of summer. The sensitivity of this laser system to melanin is very low. There is a special cooling unit that protects the outer layer while sending laser energy to the skin.
Nd-YAG laser;

- Since there is no risk of burns, it can be used in summer and winter. Because Nd-YAG lasers do not use their energy in the upper epidermal region.
- Nd-YAG lasers carry their energies down to the hair root due to its ability to penetrate the tissue.
- Compared to other wavelength lasers, they reach the hair root more comfortably (including 7mm deep fine hair follicles).
- Some lasers mostly release their energy to the hair on the skin, so they cannot go down to the hair root. When black hair starts to thin or when the hair color is brown and yellow, it becomes difficult to get results because the melanin in the hair decreases.
- It is also stated in the literature that Nd-YAG lasers are the most successful areas in the face and back, which are referred to as the most problematic areas.
